always use the word Corporation or Incorporated (Inc.). They are limited liability companies. Usually called c-corp,
I remembered that s-corp is partnership-like form and defined by the tax code, not state law.
LLC can be translated as "有限责任公司", It is a new form borrowed from continental europe. And it varies from state to state in terms of requirements, since it is a state law. There is no federal law in US on incorporation, a tradition from US constitution.
How LLC pays tax (if you mean federal tax) depends on federal tax code. Federal tax code look at the substance, not the title (LLC or s-corp) to determine the taxation treatment.
