Senior Sales Director – China
Job Description
The Senior Sales Director will set high standards for sales leadership, productivity and accountability in the China market. This position is targeted toward a seasoned sales professional tasked to meet the company’s goals and ob<x>jectives in the China region. This professional will have a good understanding of the Cable and IPTV markets with a proven track record either selling directly or through partner channels. Candidate will be responsible for building the sales foundation for its within the region developing forecasts and targets as well as building the sales organisation as the market and business dictate. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the China business plan, creating sales programs and appointing partner representatives throughout the region. Also responsible for managing the China Sales team.
This professional will have key responsibility for managing our Chinese customers’ expectations before, during and after the sales cycle. Building close business and strategic relationships with Key Accounts, Business Partners and Technologies partners in the region. The candidate will also be responsible for building RGB brand awareness and presence within the region while also bringing to the attention of the Executive staff customer and regional future solutions requirements.
Experience and Educational Requirements: Qualified individual must have previous experience successfully developing and managing the China market for a high tech company. Preferably, the individual will have a minimum of 5 to 10 years work experience and have a history of being promoted through the sales ranks with a strong back ground of closing key deals.
RGB is seeking a hands-on, independent and self- motivated person with integrity and highly developed people and communication skills (written and oral, English), who can build an effective sales organisation and strong working relationships and credibility with other their staff, customers and industry organizations.
The successful candidate must have a strong sales record with a record of exceeding sales targets while working remotely under pressure. We expect a leader who will be a key contributor to the Asia Pacific team as well as to the success of them worldwide.
Job Requirements/Experience
• Degree qualified with appropriate industry experience.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years proven selling track record
• Team Leader
• Good English both written and oral
• Proven closer
• This position will be reporting to the Vice President EMEA and Asia Pacific
% Travel Required: 80%
